Welcome to the Bone on Bone Project

We are a coalition of artists accessing creative measures to address
the human needs of health care. The Bone on Bone Project is
inspired by the life and work of Dr. L. Martina Young. The name
Bone on Bone refers to Martina's discovery that both her hip joints
are bone on bone.

Join us in supporting a beloved artist, scholar and healer -- Dr. L. Martina Young.  Martina is in immediate need of  bilateral total hip replacements; she is among the 47 million in this country without health insurance. We perceive the Bone on Bone Project representing a potential model that utilizes the power of grass-roots activism as an inspiring tool to galvanize individuals and organizations to take actions of self-agency necessary to making things possible. Historically, we all live in a drastically and dramatically changing new world environment. We know that we must do things differently if we are to evolve as a civilization -- together.
